Wire breaking is the hardest and most beatiful example of handicrafts that reflects Turkish culture. It is originated at 19th century in Bartın, a lovely black sea city of Turkey. Wire breaking differs from other needlework types with its handling technique and glamorous look. It gets handled on a fabric or tulle that strung over a wooden hoop.

I used wire breaking in scarfs and accesories. I hope you enjoy it.
