BERNA CANOK
Born in Istanbul in 1972, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts Sculpture Department at Mimar Sinan University
In 1997 she established her own art-sculpture atelier under her own name.
Between 2000-2007 she designed special collections for leading companies in the gold jewelry design sector (Asgold, Sözer Kuyumculuk, Favori Kuyumculuk).
In 2002, for the first time, she participated in Italy’s Vincenzo Expo with her own collection.
In 2004, she participated in Switzerland’s Basel Fair with her second collection.
She participated in Germany’s Inhorgenta in 2005 with a diamond collection.
In 2006, she became a member of the Turkish Fashion Designer’s Association.
The Galata Moda collection met with consumers in 2008 and continues to participate in the annual fashion fairs, organized by MTD, with her collections.
The marble and bronze statues she made during her education were unified with jewelry design over gold and silver, transforming into special designs, which she began marketing abroad. Later, with her twin sister and Fashion Designer Rana Canok, they expanded their fashion accessories by using textile and leather materials and started producing with a rich visual quality.
Today, Berna Canok is a fashion consultant for independent fashion accessories for local and foreign corporate brands. At the same time, their designs and accessories are on display at their boutique office located in Galata under the name of Rana Berna Canok.
