Beril Öke Gülen was born in 1983, İstanbul. She has graduated from the textile and fashion deign department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Univesity, in 2008. After her graduation, she created her fashion label “paper faces” and started selling her clothing and accessory designs at some of the boutiques in Cihangir and Galata in İstanbul. Then she opened her own boutique in Cihangir, in 2010. Afterwards she turned her boutique “paper faces” into a home-office in Kozyatağı, she continues selling her designs via her online shops and private shopping website campaigns. She started to design bridal accessories recently such as bridal gloves and hats with tulle.

Graduated from Tekirdağ Anatolian Highschool in June, 2002.

Started to study interior architecture and environmental design Bilkent Üniversity Fine Arts Faculty
in October, 2002 and graduated in June, 2006. Studied on space planning and design also dark room
training and digital photography. Designed domestic, public, working areas and stage design, focused
on people behavior in places/psychological aspects of places with honor degree.
Continued her studies in Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty, Master of Arts (M.A.), Interior
Architecture and Environmental Design. Has made several theoretical and practical studies on how
people acts in places. Has published her thesis on emotional relations between home environment
and the user, place attachment and identification. Has graduated with high honor degree.
She loves to take part in every phases of design, including interior, product, visual and corporate
identity design.

I’m from Ankara and I’m a mother and housewife at the age of 50. I’ve been desinging jeweleries since 2004. I have no education in this field. I learnt designing them by myself.
I use gold and silver plating apparatus, pearls, precious and semi precious stones, swarovski, needle laces and silk for my desings.
I desing necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. I usually produce authentic jewelries. In addition I use peyote technique for my desings.I produce special designs. I love desinging jeweleries so much.

Bengu Karaca received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Dogus University. She continued her studies at Marmara University’s Faculty of Education and received a certifacete in Pedagogical Formation. Her background in Literature piqued the designer’s interest in Symbolism and Signs which have continuously inspired her work. This influence, reflected in the designer’s work, gives each design deep meaning and soul. Each design is unique and authentic. Outstanding and handmade Jewellery! Bengu Karaca entered the world of jewelry design in 2005 by designing unique and authentic pieces that all have stories behind them. She introduced her first professional collection in 2006. In her designs, she uses 925K Silver and 18K Gold as well as Precious and Semi Precious Stones. The modern interpretation she applies to classical designs is noticed in her work. One of her trademarks is the harmony she achieves by combining different colors and materials. In April of 2011, she opened her Showroom at Bagdat Street, Istanbul, Turkey.
